HOW
DOES BUSINESS-UNDERWRITING WORK?
Business underwriting is a contribution to WOJB for which you receive
on-air credits. Best results are achieved when listeners have a
long-term name association between your business and their favorite
programs. WOJB listeners support and appreciate the businesses who
underwrite programming for their community radio station. Messages
should be short and emphasize a unique business service or product
offered while still complying with FCC regulations (no call to action,
quantitative or qualitative language). Your business location, company
motto, phone number and website address can also be included in
the underwriting message.
