PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

As a community service, WOJB accepts and broadcasts announcements in the public interest for no charge. These include upcoming events, death notices, road closings and other public information. When submitting materials, the following information should be included: type of event, specials guests or performers, location, date and time, ticket information, contact name and phone number. Copy is subject to editing in accordance with FCC and station regulations. These announcements are read during the broadcast day at WOJB’s discretion. They may be mailed, faxed to 715-634-4070 or called in to 715-634-2100. (see below).

PAID:
We also accept paid public service announcements.

Non For Profit Organizations

The rate for a paid PSA is $7 per announcement.* The length of announcements may not exceed 60 seconds and your organization may promote events, but cannot list the price or suggest any action. We will broadcast an agreed upon script, read by our on-air announcer (s) and be scheduled into our broadcast time.

Paid public service announcements that are consistent and frequent help to:
• Increase attendance at an event
• Improve adherence to health or safety standards
• Enhance public awareness of the organization
• Educate the public

*Non profit organizations must provide a copy of their 501 © 3 status.

Please call WOJB to schedule a public service announcement Monday through Friday from 8AM –9 AM at 715-634-2100. WOJB recommends a two-week notice in advance of an event.
